Tartan and plaid will forever be associated with punk and grunge movement, the Scots and your old Uncles. The trend has come back in full force and in different styles from pants, jackets, shirts, skirt and pantsuits.
It was big in the 90s with the grunge movement with a tartan or plaid skirt tied around your waist, this very trend within a trend is popping up everywhere. As seen on current it girl Cara Delevingne where she is rocking the tartan/plaid print around her waist for an effortlessly street look.
If street isn’t your style, you can liven up your wardrobe with a head to toe tartan/plaid pantsuit or a high waisted skirt.
